Scrub your skin a day in advance for an extra even result that lasts longer. Then hydrate your skin well, especially in rough areas such as knees, hands, elbows and feet. When you start self-tanning the next day, make sure that your skin is completely clean and that you have re-applied the dry spots with a moisturizer. Take your time and apply the self-tanner in a rotating manner. Wait at least 10 minutes before dressing and clean the inside of your hands.
